Approved Rates
The Monthly Minimum Charges are as follows:
Service Rate Class Monthly Minimum Charge
Residential $19.50
Residential Peak Period $49.50
Commercial $38.50
Large Commercial $164.50
Small Power $38.50
The Capacity Charge is as follows:
The On-Peak Capacity Charge is higher because FIEC’s most significant peaks occur during the summer months, from June to September. FIEC must design and operate the electric system to serve the high summer peak loads.
The Off-Peak Capacity Charge is lower because FIEC’s winter peak loads are smaller, and the capacity costs are spread across fewer customers.
